After dinner, we are sitting on the couch. I'm about to start my workout so Alan is idly channel-surfing while I finish my beverage. He stops at a Barrett-Jackson auto auction where a fully restored Hemi Cuda is up for bid - y'all know I like me some Hemi Cudas.
Announcer Dude: [bang!] SOLD! Sold to an internet bidder for $121,500.00!
Me: WHOA! You can bid on these things via internet?!?
Alan: No. No you can't.
Me: But he just SAID...
Alan: No.
Me: Well, but -
Alan: Don't make me cut the phone line.
Announcer Dude: [bang!] SOLD! Sold to an internet bidder for $121,500.00!
