I am at the tail end of watching a Twilight marathon on cable.  I haven't read the books but am having great fun with the movies.  Alan walks into the room.

Alan:  WHAT are you watching?!?

Me:  [happily] Twilight!  Man, I don't know why everybody disses and rags on Twilight!  These are great!!!

Alan:  WHAT?!?

Me:  Yeah, honestly I don't think I've laughed this hard since the first time I saw This Is Spinal Tap.

Alan:  [gently]  Honey...Spinal Tap was supposed to be funny.
