Yesterday afternoon I opened a bottle of wine (my first, I hadn't already had two or three, okay) and then carefully placed the cork in the kitchen utensil drawer and had the cabinet door open to throw the corkscrew in the trash when I realized that something wasn't quite right with that scenario.
