The Hellhole

On Saturday we went to Publix for our weekly grocery run and while there, we saw this fat dude lumber up to the seafood counter in a tee shirt, shorts and bare feet.

I'm not sure which is worse: being so lazy you can't be bothered to shove your feet into a pair of flip-flops (at least), or being so redneck you don't see the need to wear shoes to the grocery store.

What do you think?

  • That's pretty gross. Hopefully he stepped in something really nasty.

  • Can it be C - all of the above?

  • When I was a kid, there were signs in stores--maybe it was only restaurants now that I think about it...that said, "No shoes. No shirt. No service." I don't see those around anymore...or maybe I just don't notice them. Do these signs exist?

  • Well, Basil, I know for sure there's one at the Kroger in my hometown of Cowshit, because we saw it and were joking about it: how redneck is your town that you need one of those in the GROCERY STORE. Little did we know.

  • Remember Fast Times At Ridgemont High - No shirt, no shoes, NO DICE. I don't know which is worse - I'll go for C.

  • Sounds like he might be a good candidate for peopleofwalmart.com

The website is wrong in so many ways - but...
