Remember when I wrote about how our realtor had fired us as clients? Well, we got a letter from him today. Alan thought when he retrieved the mail that the letter would probably be a referral and/or some sort of explanation, e.g., "I don't handle listings in Your Area any longer, I'm only working Expensive Lakefront Properties, but I can recommend Other Agent at our firm if you haven't already signed with someone." - obviously we couldn't guess at what the particulars might be but expected something along those lines.

Not so!

The letter was the exact same form letter we've received every few weeks, wishing that we are well, including the color glossy pages of his listings from the giant real estate book 'to keep [us] up to date on the marketing of [our] property' and hoping that the latest color glossy photos result in some showings. The only problem with this missive was that, while the color glossy photos from the large real estate book showed all of our former realtor's listings, ours was not among them! Since he'd fired us! So he sent us a letter about all the work he'd been doing and pictures of no less than THIRTY-ONE (31!) houses - just not the one we want to sell.
