As if Flippy needed any evidence to support her accusation that I'm such a GIRL!, here are photos of what is, in my opinion, the prettiest wrapping job I've ever done. Note the complete and utter matchiness of everything, from the materials on the present to the suitability of those materials for the recipients. I'm a very matchy sort of person.
This present is for my brother Bo and his wife Sarah (see Valentine Wolfe link, right). The holly is actually a raised, velvety material. It's fuzzy. I used silver and black ribbons, reversing the motif for the bow. A shiny silver gift tag completed the package.
I can't pretend that I did it all myself, however. Here you see my supervisor, evaluating the finished products to make sure that they pass muster. Once complete, the presents are piled in the spare bedroom, to keep doggy and kitty from adding any "finishing touches".

Bo & Sarah's gift looks lovely, in an elegant rawker kind of way. You do fine work.

Yeah, it's not just that the package is pretty, it's also perfectly styled for the recipient. There's where the true art lies. My relatives know better than to expect much from me in the way of presentation, but for Anthony, I'm trying to make up for bad wrapping with lots of bows.
