I've been neglecting Flickr lately. I still love looking at my friends' photos, but it seems like whenever I choose to try to upload mine, several million other people are uploading too or the site's running slow. It winds up taking way too long, I don't have time left to title and caption them...maybe I'm just becoming more impatient. Whatever the reason, whenever I think about uploading some photos, I groan inwardly, think to myself that I don't have 45 minutes to an hour to mess with it, and go read a book or something.

Still, I put up a few last night. Nancy has a Vox blog that she named "Brand New Key", which is a song on a mixed CD I gave her. So I took some pictures of the actual 45 rmp record for her - I had it from back in the day when CDs were called 'records' - it's got a groovy psychedelic label and a chick with rainbow hair. I also took a picture for another friend, who I didn't know was a fellow "Sandman" fan until I read it on his blog.

Other new photos include the best picture of Finnovar ever (so far, anyhow) and a few shots of him in the bathroom sink. He hasn't done that since he was a wee little kitten. I don't know what prompted it, but here he is. Right after I put the sink pictures on iPhoto, I was reading Leigh-Ann's blog and saw that she had a link to this website: Cats In Sinks, which she's probably had up there for ages, but I hadn't noticed. Perhaps Finnovar saw it, and that's what motivated him to sink around for a while.

I don't want him to feel forsaken, so along with the Finnovar pictures, here is one of Sprocket, worn out from a hard day of romping, playing, widdling on things and having snacks. He has his new MiniMoose handy by - he loves MiniMoose.
