Today, a eulogy. Please bow your heads, brethren, and let us observe a moment of silence. Our family mourns the passing of one too young to die, cut short in his prime, sadly enough, by his own hand.
Bo's Xbox committed suicide Friday. It has been theorized by some that X's suicide was motivated, at least in part, by the untimely death a fortnight ago of Helly's beloved PS2. P had been a part of the family for three years and the bond between P and X was remarked by all. Perhaps X was distraught by the casual ease with which Slimline PS2 usurped P’s place in the household, or depressed over Drake of the 99 Dragons, or somehow felt a misplaced responsibility for the muddy controls, bad camera and blurry graphics of Batman: Dark Tomorrow.
But we cannot hope to understand what drove X to this heinous act, as he had a good life full of hope and promise. It avails us nothing to ask "Why?" and dwell on how grievously we will miss his cheery neon green logo, his sleek lines, his cute colored buttons...instead, let us fondly remember his love of Fable and Knights of the Old Republic, his enthusiasm for Halo, his almost non-existent disk read errors, his cute little disk tray.
[choke] I'm sorry...I can't go on with this...OH, X, we hardly knew ye! Why, Lord, WHY?!?

It is SO hard to bear..we must not question the hand that striketh down or taketh away, but strive to go on, as X (and, yes, P) would want us to. These beloved family members cannot be replaced, no, but all who loved them will be better for having had them, even for this short time.
sob....

You're right, Mom. X...X would have...would've wanted it that way (she sniffled bravely)
