Took my cat to the vet for his annual checkup. He’s in good health and, as Dr. Smith put it, when they drew blood “...this year, it was only from him!” which is a good thing.
Been very busy at work because today is my last day for a while. I’ll be off to do last-minute wedding things, for the wedding itself and to recover therefrom, returning on Thursday the 25th.
Started a new video game, Ghosthunter, which is lots of fun so far, even though I’m only about half an hour into it.
I’m almost certain that I used to update this blog regularly, and that my entries were occasionally funny and/or interesting. Sigh.

...only drew blood from the cat...
Funny, yet interesting, I reckon.
I also find it amusing that it was the infamous Dr. Smith- I picture shint "Lost In Space" suits.

Make that "shiny", not "shint"

Ok, I got your back as to the "I'm almost certain..." line.
You HAVE been kinda busy lately. And you're more than OCCASIONALLY funny or Interesting, falling into the category of Usually, in my view. And in case anyone in the Blog-o-sphere is about to say Awwww, or anything like that, that was all my be-nice-to-my-sistery-sibling points for, like, three or four months.
Cheers,
Bo

You're coming back to work on a Thursday? That's unheard of...I think. And wrong.
You're still funny, and once you're married, the only thing you'll have to plan is your next trip to Vegas.

Sadly, this Dr. Smith usually wears jeans. A space suit would be a nice diversion.
Thanks, Bo and Flippy.
Flippy, I agree it's wrong - nigh criminal - to return on a Thursday, but that's what I had to do in order to use only one week's leave total, else I wouldn't have any vacation time left for the honeymoon. Our honeymoon isn't until June, b/c of a long, convoluted series of events.

Where ya going on your honeymoon? Vegas? ;)

Heh - no, Alan wants to do Vegas during hockey season. We're going to Destin to my friend's huge, gorgeous, fabulous beach house. She loaned it to us before, which was our first "real" vacation together, so it has sentimental value.

Okay, okay, Vegas during hockey season. Late October/early November is a lovely time of year here.
I'd pick a beach house too. it just smells happy. Okay, not the place I lived in in (not a "Paris in the the spring" type thing, just the need for two ins) Pacifica. It smelled moldy, but other beach places...happy.
