In case anyone's wondering if I'm nervous about this whole "wedding" thing:

I threw up twice this morning.

  • You'll be fine. Relax and try to enjoy every moment.

  • Maybe you're allergic to Heather?

I wish you and yours all the best.

And remember, there isn't such a thing as 'too much mouthwash' on days like this.

And yes, tequilla counts as mouthwash.

  • In ancient folklore, it's good luck to throw up at least twice before an early afternoon wedding. I'm sure everything's gone swimmingly and that by now you're partying it up and having a good time. Although, it does solidify my resolve to be married by Elvis in a very small ceremony, when it becomes legal.

Congrats to the two of you. :)

  • Did Alan at least have the runs or something in sympathy? Hope you both had a great day, full of Pepto-Bismol (in a wedding-appropriate shade, of course) :)

  • But only twice - and she was the most beautiful bride EVER! Radiant! Joyous!

And her Dad looked more than spiffy in his tailcoated tux...

  • What a beautiful bride and handsome groom! There were no signs that you were either feeling ill or nervous :) Ally and I had a wonderful time at the wedding, it was so relaxed and fun, and I think really captured the spirit of both of you - we are so happy for you guys!

  • Oh, gosh, guys - THANK YOU! Mom, Kristy - thanks for the kind words. Lisa, Heather, it was great to see you there! Devon, Flippy - y'all can always make me laugh. Leigh-Ann, you don't know how funny your comment is. I actually asked him that morning, "Don't you at least have diarrhea or something???" Alan answered, "No, but if it will make you feel better I'll tell you that I do," and I did a mock-freakout, like, "NO! Then our whole marriage will be based on LIES! DAMNED LIES!"

I hope everyone there had fun. I wish all of you had been able to come. Pix to follow!
