So now you all know the terrible truth about me:
she DOESN'T keep her Moet & Chandon in a pretty cabinet - it's in the fridge.
I'm not extraordinarily nice, either, although fastidious and precise is a pretty apt description. But enough of Freddy Mercury's opinion of me, what about MY opinion of me? Seems to me I had a point...and it had to do with Moet & Chandon...oh! I know! New Year's Eve!
Alan and I have enjoyed a lovely, quiet evening at home, dining lavishly on prime rib garnished with morel mushrooms, garden salad and garlic/Herbs de Provence roasted potatoes; since dinner we've sat on the couch reading books, some of which were purchased only hours ago with Christmas gift cards, and we are sated and happy.
I want to wish you all the very best for 2009. I hope the new year is everything you hope for, but if it's not I hope you're all warm and fed, safe and content, healthy and loved. If I could have one wish come true, I wish you'd all be as happy and content as this puppy.
