We decided that the tradition of the first anniversary being the paper anniversary was antiquated, and that it ought to be the iPod anniversary. So we bought each other iPods 'cause we're all modern and hip.
Our anniversary is not until next week but we figured a celebration of several days' length was in order.

A-HA! That's whose anniversary it was/is/will be. I was downstairs talking to Leigh-Ann and she said it was her brother & sister-in-law's anniversary, I said, "I know it's someone else's too, but I can't remember who." I'd read your blog entry earlier today, and promptly forgot reading it. You'll be pleased to know that I remembered it was going to be someone, somewhere's anniversary.
Nice gifties. I approve. This year is our big 10 year anniversary. I have six months to think about it and save up my pennies.
