I finally took the time to upload the rest of my Las Vegas photos to Flickr. If you want to see some gorgeous flowers courtesy of Bellagio's botanical garden, check the latest additions here. I also uploaded a photo of my three-eyed fish (see previous post).
Hey, remember when I asked y'all to help rickroll the Mets? Well, guess what? "Never Gonna Give You Up" freaking WON!!! It won by a landslide (metaphorically speaking, not Fleetwood Macilly speaking) and got 5 million votes. From the Fox News article, but in case the link eventually goes bad, "We've probably not gotten that many votes for anything before," Mets spokesman Jay Horwitz said. Of course, as luck would have it, the Mets fans are not going to be serenaded by Mister Astley every 8th inning; Mets management chose to toss the results as (paraphrasing article) not being truly indicative of their fan base. But whoa snap!* how frabjoustically funtastic is that, that the ultimate rickroll overwhelmed all other legitimate votes?!? And I helped!
Here is a link (which I promise is not a rickroll) of the Mets fans registering their displeasure at being rickrolled. Oh, the w00tness! - it fills me; it is neat. (<--- name that reference - there may be a prize in it for you, which I solemnly guarantee will not be personally delivered by Rick Astley)
* Do the cool kids still say "snap" these days? I am unsure, though I am cool enough to understand the rickroll, and to have helped in the Semi-Ultimate Rickroll. After reflection, I've decided it's only the semi-ultimate rickroll, because the absolute ultimate would have been if one of the links in the Fox News article was, in fact, itself a rickroll.

Welcome back, love your pictures!
And I don't think "Snap" is cool any longer. I think it's retro cool now? Kind of like saying, "Word."

"Snap" was used in a commercial therefore it is no longer cool, even if said commercial featured Peter Stormare.
But that is awesome that it got 5 million votes!
