These are my new flamingo slippers. They're crocheted and don't feel exactly, er, sturdy, so I have a feeling they're likely to disintegrate upon their first washing, but for now I have slippers with bow-wearing flamingos on them. And if they do disintegrate, I shall be rather put out, as I paid A WHOLE $4.99 for them.

I also bought some cute black boots. Alan got some new shirts, a new hoodie and best of all, new underwear.


I have posted actual photos of my husband's underwear on the internet. Imagine the pride our parents must be feeling Right. This. Minute.

  • The slippers are very cute. You might need to move to Florida just to wear them in good conscience though.

    I posted a picture of my underwear once. Leigh-Ann bought me Curious George boxer shorts. It's hard to understand how guys get their pants over baggy boxer shorts. I wear mine as shorts around the house.

    Flippy, I do the same thing with boxer shorts. I have several pairs that are my weekend-around-the-house shorts during summer.

  • If you guys like the boxers, pj's and slippers - you should check out Old Navy for the themed variety! They usually have fun Halloween, Txgiving, and Xmas options :)
