Sheesh, I haven't updated in nearly a week. Nothing blog-worthy has been going on, though: I commute (which is sometimes a mini-version of hell and sometimes a breeze), I work (which is the same), I run errands, I try to find time to read and relax - the usual.
Even Vox has failed me. When I first joined, I was certain the Question of the Day would be a great starting point for blog entries and maybe lead me to tell a funny anecdote or three. But no inspiration there, either. Yesterday's question was, "What do you do to get rid of a cold or flu?" I don't know that there is much of anything to do except wait, and eventually the germs will get bored and go party somewhere else (as is my understanding of germ and bacteria behaviour). I rarely take any medication because I have all these allergies, many of which were not discovered until a physician dosed me with something, and I wound up sicker and far worse off than I'd have been just riding out the cold or virus.
Today it's "Tell us about your first kiss. Who was it with? How old were you?" I have absolutely no idea. Seriously. I've thought about this and I know my first 'real' boyfriend wasn't the first boy I'd kissed, but further details elude me. In a way I suppose that's good, because it means that nothing too embarassing or humiliating happened, or I'd have remembered it shamefully. On the other hand, it must not have been very memorable.
The one before that was "What are your top 25 most played songs?" Bah, can't really answer that one either. I don't have an iPod and I'm not going to bother tracking this statistic manually. Such a list would be useless as a recommendation because my musical taste is rather eclectic; if you liked some of the things on my list, it wouldn't follow that you should check out the others. Also, when I get a new CD, I tend to listen to it almost exclusively so my most-played list doesn't number even 25 songs most days. I like XM Radio and usually listen to Squizz until they play something unutterably foul like Linkin Park or Pearl Jam and I have to switch to Fred.
So, there's three questions and three non-answers.

But see, we even want to read your non-answers. It's like, I dunno, checking in and saying hello. So, answer the damn questions of the day, even if they're bad.
