A catch-up on some Questions Of The Day:
What movie can you quote by heart?
I know lots of lots of lines as they happen, when they happen, e.g., "I can eat fifty eggs!", "Oh,?I thought it was because I let you win at roulette.", "What ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in What?!?" and most importantly, "I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good Scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last for three days." Oh, my. Oh, my. I can quote Quentin Tarentino's "From Dusk Till Dawn" and Rob Riner's "The Princess Bride" and Monty Python's "The Holy Grail" pretty much line-for-line. But then again, I have a near-photographic memory, when it comes to things that are important.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
OMG, I'm such a night owl that sometimes I wonder if something's not medically wrong with me. I can sleep little, and badly, the night before. I will be fuzzy, muzzy and not-quite-there all day long, and I can know that I should go home and straight to bed. Yet, once I pass 9PM, I am good, I am strong, I am THERE. At 2AM, Alan will pry the computer or the book from my fingers, begging me for his sake to turn the freaking light out, and knowing the consequences of the morning I will comply...but not happily.
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?
Sacrilege, I know, but I don't have TiVo and don't know what I'd do with it if I did. I don't watch many TV shows, which I don't mean in some snotty pseudointellectual sort of way ("We don't WATCH tv, *sniff*!"), but really I don't. Not many shows interest me, and fewer still interest me to the point that I'd rearrange my schedule to remember to be in front of the box when they aired (which not having to, I know is the whole point of having TiVo). Of the TV I watch, most of it is sports and even that, I don't care enough about to record and watch later. If I'm home, and not busy, I might watch a football game but if I'm out and about, or doing something else, or asleep, I honestly don't care enough about it to record it, sit down and sit through it later when the result is on ESPN and SI and the internet. And that's sports, things that MATTER, not sitcoms or dramas or evening soaps or some crap.

Yeah, you have a freakishly good memory. I don't think I can quote much of any movie. As it's happening, though, I can probably recite a good bit of Princess Bride and Back To School and Casablanca.
