I've tried to update four or five times and deleted every post in a fit of pique. I'm not in a very good mood, for a number of reasons, but I don't want to write another whining, I'm-stressed post. Yet I'm obviously down enough that I'm not able to see the humour in anything that's going on as even my attempt at a more benign topic, a book review, came off far more bitter, condescending and harsh than I intended. Although I didn't particularly like the book, I didn't intend to write something that was scathingly mean and not at all funny. Sigh. So I deleted that one, too, and here's a puppy.
