The Hellhole

Saturday my brother came up to hang out and we spent the day playing PS2 games, drinking Cokes and beer, and having snacks. It was a fabulous day. I needed it badly. I need a few more days like that in my life.

Mainly we played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. We each had a great video game moment: his when he managed to drive a stolen car over the peak of a hill and wound up on top of a building, and mine when I smashed my stolen motorcycle into the rear of a taxicab, but instead of falling into the street, my character wound up standing atop the taxicab. Cab-surfing through the streets ensued and we did it again several times.

That’s about all I did; on Sunday I played more video games, this time solo - mostly King’s Field: the Ancient City which is a slow-paced, but quite fun fantasy RPG. I’m enjoying it. More than what I played, though, I very much enjoyed the chance to sleep late and then lie around doing nothing in particular.

I took some pictures of the tasty treats we enjoyed during our marathon video-game session; I'll post those later.
