And the musical suckitude continues...
as if the murder of Dimebag Darrell weren't bad enough, Jerry Scoggins has died. Doesn't ring a bell with you youngstas? You've heard him. He was the singer for the Cass County Boys who were on Gene Autry's radio program for years. But if you were too young for "Melody Ranch" on the radio, you heard him on television. Back when TBS was "Channel 17" to us Atlantans, we heard him every day after school when he invited us to "come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Jed", accompanied by Lester Flatt (guitar) and Earl Scruggs (banjo).

But wait there's more.

A friend who loves music as much as I do just reminded me that Dimebag Darrell got shot YESTERDAY. (<---- complex literary device known as 'foreshadowing'). Yesterday, December 8. On that day 24 years ago, a mot[long string of vile expletives deleted] shot John Lennon. Now I'm really depressed.

Oh, I believe in yesterday...
