Had a messed-up schedule today, but it was a pretty good day in spite of that. Remember those two mysterious flat tyres I had a couple of weeks ago? Well, the rear one went flat again and this time it wouldn't hold much air. I didn't even bother trying to get it repaired (too disgusted) so this morning I went to the tyre store and purchased two new rear tyres. It was about time anyway.
I got to the office and got a good bit of work done when The Boss called. He wanted to have our 'state of the union' meeting over lunch at our favorite diner, so that was cool. I had a good lunch: chicken & dumplings, green beans, corn, biscuit. Then went back to the office and had a very productive afternoon.
Traffic totally sucked trying to get home, three separate wrecks on the interstate but I was not involved in any of them. It was such a horrible adventure with that traffic demon that I was forced to stop at World Market for a bottle of Cabernet. I also bought Alan some gourmet cocoa and fancy chocolate bars.
So, that was my Thursday. Not an interesting day but I'm trying to live up to blogging month and all. How did you spend your Thursday?

We had almost the same day - I, too, bought a bottle of red wine...for Leigh-Ann. I did not buy any foreign-spelled tyres, but I'm glad that you did. I feel better with you having new tires.
Today, I drove across town to pick up a pain med prescription. It's a Schedule "People Like These & Want to Forge Prescriptions to Get Them" med, so I had to get the actual piece of paper. Because no, there's no other way to verify that the doctor is prescribing them, like having the doctor call it in and having the pharmacy call the doctor's office number and verify it. No sirree, that wouldn't work. So, I picked that up, then drove to Whole Foods to get two Diestel turkeys (the best turkeys EVER!) - one for the family Thanksgiving, and another one for Leigh-Ann and I to have a Thanksgiving on our choice of days, sometime between now and Spring. I also got Leigh-Ann her bottle of wine that she said came out today. Sadly, I think it tastes like dirt, so she'll have to drink the whole bottle herself.
Then, I went to the pharmacy, got my meds, got some Claritin-D (which I had to sign for because some meth addict might try to extract the Sudafed out of the really expensive pill to try to make meth), a container of $1 donut holes (they're fresh and awesome), and a copy of Chile Pepper magazine, which one only needs one copy of per year because it gets repetitive. It has great ads though, and we duz like our fiery stuff.
Damn, I just gave you my whole NaBloPoMo entry for the day, without getting any credit for it.

Thursday already seems like a really long time ago. Does that mean time is moving fast or slow for me?
